greenock

Greenock is the port of Glasgow where you can set sail with Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines to Scandinavia & the Norwegian Fjords, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean.

Located ¼ of a mile from the town centre, the port was traditionally dependent on heavy industry and shipbuilding.  The area is now a centre for modern communications and in recent years has become a busy and popular cruise port.

Directions by Car:

From the M8:
1. Continue onto the A8 (signposted for Greenock).  Go through four roundabouts.
2. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto the A8/Greenock Road.
3. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and stay on the A8/Greenock Road.  Continue to follow the A8.  Go through two roundabouts.
4. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the A770/Dalrymple Street, heading to Gourock.  Continue to follow the A770.
11. Turn right onto Patrick Street (signposted for Clydeport Container Terminal).  The cruise terminal is on the left.

Passengers travelling by train should alight at Greenock Station, which is a short taxi ride from the cruise terminal.
