That's what family cruising with NCL is all about - fun and freedom. The great thing about cruising is the freedom it offers and, unlike a land-based resort, you know where your kids are 24 hours a day. They can roam around, meet new friends, hang out by the pool, grab a snack from the buffet or a soft drink from the bar anytime they like, even go to the library and they never have to leave the ship.

Also, with NCL Freestyle Dining, you and the kids can dine where you like, when you like - in fact whenever the kids are hungry and with all that fresh sea air and activity about it could be often.

Then there are NCL's Kid's Crew and Teen's Crew programmes, which are some of the biggest and most fun afloat and provide professionally supervised, age-appropriate activities that will keep them happy for days. And even better - the activities are FREE when the ship's at sea, so you can get to do your own thing knowing they're safe and sound.

Even the youngest of youngsters will have a great time on board and find tons of things to do. On all our ships in Europe you'll find junior splash pools, themed wet and wild fun areas with slides and water squirters and jungle gyms with ball pits and tunnels. And all that's even before they've joined their very own club, Kid's Crew. Its divided into three age groups so they'll have the time of their lives with little people their own age.
Junior Sailors (2-5 years)
Children's pool area, painting, arts & craft, games, pizza making, treasure hunt and family activities.
First Mates (6-9 years)
Children's pool area, treasure hunt, pizza making, games & classes, painting, movies and storytelling.
Navigators (10-12 years)
Sports activities, family activities, arts & crafts, parties, video arcade, scavenger hunt and board games.
NCL Family fun And when you need a little bit more 'me time' in the evening, the Late Night Party Zone is our group child minding service from 10pm to 1am for 2 to 12 year olds. Just try dragging them away when it's time for bed.

Teen Angels
NCL Freestyle Cruising is seriously cool for teenagers. In no time at all, they'll be surfing at the Internet Cafe, joining a team on the sports court, going for gold at table tennis, challenging the world to a Nintendo Wii tournament and hoping for a lucky strike at the bowling alley. They'll get together at themed parties, dine out together and take in a show as a group. Just make sure they disembark when you do. 
Teen's Crew (13-17 years)
The teen programme is a great way for teens aged 13-17 to meet eachother while engaging in some cruising fun. A member of the Youth Staff supervises all activities and because they know what teens want to be doing, they get the vibe just right.

Activities include:
Teen disco, movies, parties, teen social, Playstation, Nintendo Wii video game system, video arcade, sports & activities, board & card games.
